A Letter From Ken Krivitzky, Executive Director
I want to start off by saying what an incredible community we have. Last week, we put a call out for volunteers and so many of you have stepped up. We are in the beginning of a few weeks that will be very hard for many. Perhaps there is irony that this time has begun on Friday the 13th and the Ides of March. We are also demonstrating the importance of belonging to a synaoggue and a community. We still need more people to make calls - if you are willing to do so or to shop for others when the time comes, please let me know.
This week, minyan at the synagogue will be cancelled. We are still looking for ways that our congregants can connect in prayer. If you would like to be a part of a virtual minyan, please let me know. The Gold/Friedman famly will be having their Shiva minyan tonight and tomorrow evening via zoom. You can join in at 6:45pm and the minyan will be at 7:00pm:

Poetry Contest
Over the next few weeks we will be taking submissions for a TBHBE Passover Poetry contest in honor of Shakespeare’s April Birthday. We will be accepting submissions from all ages of congregants and community members. Submissions will be accepted until April 1st. Winners will be notified by the 3rd and the entire community will be receiving poems right before Passover. We encourage you to use them at your seder! Eight poems, in honor of the eight days of Passover, will be accepted. Please send submissions to hchandler@tbhbe.org
