During our Summer months, we will send one all-encompassing weekly newsletter as opposed to two. We hope that you are able to relax & enjoy! - Gal and Hallie

My mother used to say that I would cry and run as far from fireworks as I could possibly get because of how loud they were. I am not sure how the transition happened, whether just developmental growth or the physiological changes that come with growing up, though I can honestly say celebrations in which there are fireworks are some of my favorite current attractions. I go places now in honor of being able to witness incredible fireworks shows. July 4th, the Independence of a nation, allows us to observe the growth of a country, the dedication that can absolve fear, and the importance of celebration. We hope that this Friday you will join volunteers and staff of TBH-BE for our celebratory drive-through. Bring hats, bring flags, bring smiles, and see friendly faces. This week I would encourage you all to think of something that you may be afraid of and how you can make it your biggest gift or pleasure going forward and if you have never googled July 4th you should. Happy fireworks or at least sparklers to you all! 😊

Music from our Hazzan: "Well, it's summer and it's hot, so I asked myself, which moments in music make me melt? The 6th and final movement of the mammoth Mahler 3rd symphony has the subtitle, "What love tells me". This theme appears in the opening bars, and reappears several times, no more beautifully than at 18:03 in the form of a brass chorale. It makes me melt every time. Enjoy! | Click here to listen
Thank you to all those who came to celebrate our Adult B'not Mitzvah. According to one guest: "It was so full, I couldn't get a seat.

Community Events & Resources
Repairing the World At the last Men's Club meeting it was approved to work on a project that helps our neighbors who are having a tough time living through the current crises. One of our neighboring churches is St Mary's Episcopal Church. The Church has a food pantry that helps the entire community regardless of race, color, or religion. When you come by the drive-through this Friday, please consider bringing a few cans that will be donated to the food bank. - Ed Snyder
