A Note on Security:
Traditionally, at this time, we write at this time about the security of the facilities and the need to have tickets. Instead, we are writing about the security of our online options. Please do not share these links online in any public place. We will have a waiting room enabled and will be looking at the names of the zoom accounts to let people in - so please make sure your zoom name is clear. The main sanctuary service will be livestreamed to https://www.tbhbe.org/stream.html. If you have any guests or family members that would like to join us on our zoom services, please have them fill out this form. As always, if you need assistance, my cell phone number is 513.503.9559 or email is kkrivitzky@tbhbe.org.
Closing Message:
This past Shabbat we held our first Bar Mitzvah in the Sanctuary since early March. As most of you know, this past year was my older daughter's Bat Mitzvah. I knew going into this year, how proud I would be of my daughter and how happy I would be on that special day. I didn't understand the power of standing on the bimah during her Bat Mitzvah and looking out at our community and asking her to do the same. As those in the room might remember, I broke up when speaking to her about the importance of being a part of a loving community. The congregation showed such incredible support for my daughter and for my family and we are incredibly grateful for that support. But as I was reflecting on Saturday, I also didn't quite grasp the depth of emotions that I would feel at the other B'nai Mitzvah this year, watching those children that I have known since we have moved here have their special moments, feeling that same sense of pride as I felt on Sophie's day.
There is so much incredible love and support in our community, and we as the TBH-BE staff have been trying to highlight that in our emails to the congregation. Thank you so much for being a part of this Kehillah Kedosha, this holy community. Wishing you a year filled with health and happiness, a shanah tovah.
