Good morning and Shabbat Shalom!

First, the weather is expected to be really nice this evening, we will be doing services outdoors in the circle tonight at 6:00pm if you would like to attend (also on zoom!). Tonight's service will be a hybrid of our regular Shabbat Service and our dance filled, First Friday Shabbat Service (families are encouraged to dance with each other if they choose, but we ask for groups not to join together). Please rsvp to me if you would like to join us.

Our ECC has prepared a special version of the Four Questions for you. Enjoy!

If you would like to join us in person for services for Shabbat or Pesach, please let me know. We both want to ensure a minyan and want to make sure that we are able to remain socially distanced. Services are available tomorrow (Shabbat), Sunday (first day of Peseach), next Shabbat (seventh day just added) and next Sunday (eighth day featuring Yizkor). A few other RSVPs would be helpful.

Last year, as one of our first Zoom events, the Hazzan recorded Songs of the Seder. Here it is again for supplemental viewing. Musically it is helpful. Presentation wise, it is amazing how far we have come in a year and what we have learned about putting on zoom events.

There have been many times that we in the Jewish community have needed and called on our allies. I find this article by an Asian American Jewish woman to be very powerful. Please read it. Collectively, the Jewish community can and must be better and do better.

When I lead a seder, dayenu (it would have been enough) has become one of my favorite teaching points. The act of recognizing each step on a journey, even though we might not be at our end goal, is really powerful. I believe this is really critical right now as society is slowly reopening and the vaccine numbers are rising. May we all remember to take a pause and be thankful for each steps of our journey.

As a reminder, you can still sign up to join us for our Virtual Second Seder with Hazzan and Amy Rosner. Wishing you a zissen (sweet), meaningful Pesach. Please enjoy this new acapella Passover Sea Shanty song from Six13. At the end of the seder, we traditionally say next year in Jerusalem. I will close this with, in the very near future,  may we all be together.
