Synagogue Updates

Good morning and Shabbat Shalom!

I am writing to you from a scenic overlook in Virginia, taking a little time to relax before the next two months where we have an incredible calendar of events (more below). 

If you would like to join us in person for services for Festival Services this weekend on Saturday or Sunday, please let me know. We both want to ensure a minyan and want to make sure that we are able to remain socially distanced. Yizkor will be on Sunday. 

We have loved hearing from people that have gotten their vaccines. If you need help getting the vaccine, please let us know. We have had people contact us with clinics and opportunities. 

I am pleased to announce that we have a special date reserved for our Spring Celebration, Sunday, May 23rd in the evening. Please mark your calendars and stay tuned for event, sponsorship and ticket information. We will be recognizing and thanking many of our COVID Heroes. If you would like to be involved or to support the event, please reach out to me.

Wednesday, April 7th - Yom HaShoah. Please see Rabbi's letter from earlier today. You can pick up your yellow candle in the office. RSVP for a reminder link here. 

Wednesday, April 14th - Yom Hazikaron Commemoration and Yom Ha'atzmaut Trivia Night. Learn more and rsvp here. 

Sunday, April 18th - Torah Fund Brunch honoring Kelly Dash and Ellen Spector. There is still time to rsvp. 

Tuesday, April 27th - An Evening with Bari Weiss. RSVP here. You won't want to miss this great talk!
