Synagogue Updates

Good Evening! A number of quick updates this week. 

Today was one of the great days during the year that we get to thank some of our great volunteers. Mazel Tov to Kelly Dash and Ellen Spector on being this year's Torah Fund honorees. It is well deserved. 

I hope  you have seen the emails about our Spring Celebration on Sunday, May 23rd. It is going to be an outdoor movie. This week, we will be sending out an email to the community with potential movie choices. 
 

We have lots of upcoming events, but I am particularly excited for the Lag B'Omer celebration on Friday afternoon April 30th, followed by an outdoor Kabbalat Shabbat Service. Space is limited, join us!  Our opportunities to see people in person have truly been really meaningful. As we begin to focus on in person events, I want to remind all of you that our daily minyanim, Shabbat services and adult ed classes continue via zoom. You can see the schedule here. We have a number of Rabbinic Search Parlor Meetings this week. Please join us. We want your input.
 

We wanted to make sure you are aware that this year the Pennsylvania Primary is taking place on the second day of Shavuot, Tuesday, May 18th. We encourage you to make a plan to vote. You can learn more about the primaries or how to request a mail-in ballot here. 

We are hoping to bring back our challah baking initiative this summer. Would you like to help coordinate it? Please let me know. Have a great week - the weather looks good most days, hopefully you will have time to get outside!
