Synagogue Updates

Boker Tov! 

Maybe we are catching some of you on your morning walk, others might be distracting themselves from zoom Shacharit or some may be dropping your kids off at school! 

Love the smell of homemade challah but don't have the time, energy, and/or resources to bake challah today? We can help. Last Sunday volunteers filled our synagogue freezers with Challot for our new Bake and Take initiative. Thank you to all of our volunteers and to Estelle Benson and Amy Eisen for sponsoring the bake. Please reach out to Hallie Chandler if you would like to pick one up today. Don't forget your toppings which you can also pick up. 

We wanted to fill you in early on this weekend's Shabbat activities. 

Friday:

This morning Lori Cooper's coffee and chat will not be meeting. Please join her next week at the same time!  

Kabbalat Shabbat tonight will be in the Sanctuary at 6:00 PM due to weather. Complimentary wine available in our front circle to those that come.  Join via zoom here.

Cookie Minyan and Tot Shabbat will be at 11:00 AM outside on and near the back Porch. Rain or shine! (Tot Shabbat will be on the Chapel Patio in case of rain) 
*Please note next weekend we will start an inaugural pre-teen service for 3rd-6th graders at 11:00 PM - please join us.

In honor of Veterans Day our Cub Pack 1958 will be collecting new warm weather accessories (pull on hats, gloves and scarves) and toiletries (soap, shampoo, razors, shaving gel, etc) for the veterans receiving treatment at the VA Hospital of Philadelphia:  https://www.va.gov/philadelphia-health-care/ .
Please bring items to the front office M-F between 9:00 AM & 2:30 PM or 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
