Good morning friends,
Kiddish at Temple Beth Hillel – Beth El has always been more than just food. It’s a weekly program that brings people together. The Kiddish culture accommodates many needs. For some it’s an opportunity to expand their study opportunity with friends, for others it’s a youth-friendly environment to build relationships, and for some it’s a place one can receive sustenance that they wouldn’t normally get on a daily basis. In the past our Kiddish culture has also had a strong history of volunteers who have helped to coordinate and prepare our meals.
In the year ahead, beginning this summer, we’d like to continue and expand certain aspects of our kiddish culture.
- We are eager to provide everyone the opportunity to help set up and disassemble the kiddish. We are asking for four volunteers per/week to help with this process.
- In addition, we have added composting to help lower our community’s environmental impact. We are looking for a volunteer to assist our members with proper composting during kiddish.
If each congregant signs up for one of these slots we could be filled in a matter of minutes! Feel free to sign up with family and friends! Please click here for the link to sign up as a volunteer. Once you sign up we will be in contact with you with more details. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! This is even a wonderful way for those who may never come Saturday morning to have an easy entry into our Saturday morning experience.
Thank you in advance!
