Synagogue Updates

Shabbat Shalom.

Some weeks, the content of this email is hard to think up, some weeks, it basically writes itself. As I wrote last week, today was Georgeanne Elliott’s retirement day. We are incredibly sad to see her go, but she has more than earned her time off (and as with many of our longstanding employees – has already said that she will come in occasionally as a volunteer). If you still want to send in a message that we will give to Georgeanne, please email them to me by Monday.  We are very pleased to introduce Sarahann Goldstein who has recently joined us. Sarahann is a Philly native, a former Director of Graduate Admissions at JTS and is a B’nai Mitzvah tutor. She will be in the office from 8:00am – 2:00pm, Monday – Friday, and we are very excited to have her on our team. She can be reached at sgoldstein@tbhbe.org. 

On Wednesday, the staff had a delicious lunch prepared by Kari Kohn. It allowed us to say thank you to our staff after a very busy start of the year, welcome in our new staff members, and say thank you to Georgeanne. You already know this, but we have an incredibly dedicated staff, but even more important a nice and caring staff team,  whom I am very proud to work with and appreciate very much.  And we are looking – if you know someone that would like to join our staff team, we have an open part time position:  Youth and Family Engagement Coordinator
